I’ve truly enjoyed living in this apartment complex—it feels more like a community than just a place to live. The staff here is incredible: always friendly, responsive, and genuinely invested in making this a great place for everyone. The tenants are just as wonderful—kind, respectful, and a joy to be around. One of my favorite features is the 9th floor. It’s the heart of the building with thoughtfully planned events that bring everyone together and make it easy to meet new people. The social atmosphere has helped us form lasting friendships, which has made our experience here even more meaningful. And I can’t forget to mention the pool—it’s a true gem. Beautifully maintained and perfect for relaxing or catching up with neighbors on a sunny day. Overall, this community has exceeded my expectations. It’s warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. I’m so grateful to call it home.

The staff in the office are consistently gracious and kind. They plan good events for the community and listen when you bring up an issue. They have done a good job of removing smokers from the building using new devices installed in each apartment. The summer pool party is awesome as is the christmas party. These are two extras that make this into an actual community. You can meet new people there. While the gym is small, it is equipped with all you would need to stay in shape. When equipment is broken, it is fixed quickly. One of the best things is that the keep whole building smelling really good, like in the hallways. They still do not have an effective noise policy and I typically have at least one noisy neighbor that is high and mighty and is suffering from the delusions of privilege. They recommend now to call the courtesy officer but police almost never provide an equitable outcome to these situations and often create violence themselves. All in all, great building.

Overall pretty great living experience. Security and apartment staff are very helpful and friendly. Location is fantastic and amenities are nice. Downside, my apartment is right next to the trash chute, so my place always smells kinda bad. Always have to have a candle lit to keep the smell away.

Everything has been great, can't complain. The leasing girls, the location, views and overall experience has been fantastic. I do wish though that there was tea and stevia at the coffee machines and maybe some cheez its and/or nuts, etc.

I’m moving in a week from now and I can’t wait. I looked at so many apartments around Raleigh and nothing could touch what 511 Faye offers. The view from my apartment is beautiful. I can’t wait to wake up to that view every morning. Valerie found that apartment for me and it’s exactly what I was looking for. I’m excited about using the amenities. The club room is great and I know I’ll be there and at the pool a lot. I’m very happy with my choice.

Valerie helped me tour several apartments and the entire building twice, so two of my kiddos were able to give dad their blessing at different times. The tour was very professional, and thorough. She pointed out a couple of things I hadn't considered. In the end, Valerie and the property manager were very helpful and creative in assisting me with the lease terms and the signatory process.

Everything is perfect :). From the views, to the people, and the events! Also, parking is easy and getting to the apartment is quick! All the spaces look clean and have character, it feels very welcoming. The security walks around too. Last but not least, the trash chute is on every floor and it’s all maintained.

We recently moved in and we love the area and enjoy having coffee in the clubhouse, unfortunately the outdoor sitting areas have been neglected and are not really usable. The seating is covered in pollen and stains, and it looks like stuff has been spilled on some of the seats. I wish these seats were clean so that we could sit comfortably outside in the mornings.

Nice building, pretty good location, not unreasonable prices, the staff does a great job of helping out and organizing events. The gym is really extensive for an apartment gym. The reasons I don't give it 5 stars are: 1. The parking garage is under the building and there is only 1 elevator to get there which is often broken or being used for move ins, so it can take a really long time to get to your car. Something you have to take the regular elevators and walk through an adjacent parking garage, which can be sketchy. 2. No balconies. Can't open windows in the apartments. 3. The pool is not horribly situated, but it's in a strange spot that loses daylight earlier than it should.

I found a new, bigger apartment on a higher floor. The prices fluctuate and recently they came down considerably and it made sense for my budget. The new floor is also quieter. Most places in this area have comparable prices but deliver much less value with respect to the experience. If you're going to pay increasingly exorbitant rental prices, this is a pretty good building. The monthly activities are also a highlight.

Great new development. The concierge is always nice and attentive. Everything is kept clean, the pool area is super nice and they even clean the grills. The apartment has new appliances and the only downside is there’s an insane amount of dust no matter how often you clean/dust. Valerie is great and makes living here personable!

I love living at 511 Faye. The view from my 19th floor corner apartment facing Fayetteville Street to the Capital is outstanding. The location is perfect to attend events at Memorial Auditorium, to walk to museums, restaurants and bars. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating to all requests. The building is very pet friendly.

1) 511 is safe place to live; the property is clean. 2) The concierges are knowledgeable of the property, friendly, and dress and looks professional. 3) The Leasing Office works as a team in running the property successfully and making sure the residents are alert on the latest downtown news and its developments. I like that they make it their business in bringing the residents together for meet and greet by having activities (.i.e, games, eating, samplings, etc.

The environment is very young and there needs to be much more security for a downtown building. The concierge needs to be tightened up and be able to screen for unnecessary visitors. And cameras should be on every elevator bank.

The units and amenities have been second to none. The views are pretty, varied, and interesting. The access to downtown restaurants and nightlife is convenient and worth some of the extra penny. Many people have been quite nice so far in helping me to get acclimated. It is gorgeous on the outside and makes you feel sophisticated and beautiful to arrive at home after a long day. It is unfortunate but many young people are noisy, negligent, and immature. They act like this is a dorm when in fact it is a residence full of young professionals, families, and people who generally want to a quiet, peaceful, environment. The management should emphasize the importance of common courtesy more.

The very moment I walked in, I felt welcome. Everyone has a big smile on their face, from the staff to the residents. Even though the square footage in each room is small, it feels big and there is a lot of storage space to keep our things tucked away. The amenities also make 511 Faye worth living here. The gym, pool and grill area, and the lounge all make me feel like I’m living at a resort. Overall, an exciting, welcoming place to live.

Sign your lease with the best downtown location with the best views ever starting from the 9th floor and up! I lived in the 04 view, and you don't have that view in your life, you have not lived! New resident, quiet, convenient location. Fairly easy move in. Beautiful views. Would recommend spending some time when you move in to navigate the parking decks and understand what elevators to use. We rented a storage unit and well worth the money for the convenience and extra space.

Besides the walls being kinda thin and being able to hear all my neighbors business, my stay wasn’t too bad at all. I do wish the concierge would call before letting people up like they’re supposed to just for safety purposes.

Everyone in this community is kind. Either in the elevator or in the lobby, I haven’t found a situation where I felt uncomfortable or awkward. And having concierge available for questions is fantastic.

511 Faye has been a great place to live the last 1.5 years! The space is always very clean and staff is awesome to work with. The concierge has great options for us downstairs and is typically always there when needed. I appreciate the movie nights that have started, but would love to see more around the space for us to get to know our neighbors in 511. Also would love if we could get a Peloton in the gym!

The apartment is beautiful and in a great location! The noise is a bit of a problem (neighborhood and neighbor), but the city noise is definitely expected living downtown. Overall, the staff is awesome and the experience has been great.

511 has the best downtown living ever! Rooftop pool, gym, the best events in the city, and if you are a resident, you will totally love all that 511 offers! Concerige makes me feel complete as they always handle packages and visitors professionally.

The building has gotten better but there are still a few things that could make it amazing. The staff is friendly. I think if we had a bench and trivia screen in the lobbies for the parking garage that would go a long way. It's not uncommon to wait five to ten minutes during peak hours with no cell service. Giving us something to kill time with would be apprecated.

I have absolutely loved the last year at 511 Faye. The amenities are what really attracted me to the complex as I already knew I wanted to be downtown. Staff goes above and beyond to satisfy each resident. The complex is extremely tidy, smells great, and always is warm and welcoming to guests.

I enjoy it here. I wish there was a doggie area on the 9th floor. So I could still be social with my dog. Also it would help with potty training, not having to go all the way down and he not being able to hold it. Other than that, it’s awesome here.
